CHICOS Y MENDEZ is part of the « latin alternative » style. Following the lead-singer, David Méndez Yépez, of Peruvian origin, the group finds its roots in the latin-american music scene whilst also creating its own musical universe and journey. Chicos y Mendez offers a musical repertoire that is open to the world and to contemporary influences. It taps into urban sounds, pop, rock or reggae, and proposes lyrics in Spanish and in French that translate a desire to meet the poetry of others and make the world a better place.
