Reunited in 2016, the 5 musicians of Bigger could very well have come out of the Cavern Quarter in Liverpool. Lulled by the British Beat Sixties of their elders, they immerse themselves with as much ease in the melancholy and darkness of Nick Cave or Anna Calvi as in the melodic rainbows of the Beatles. However, their influences are not enough to stifle their singularity, carving a dark rock that only strangely luminous refrains come to light. A troubled and cinematographic universe, where we walk along the river Mersey, flowing straight into the Irish Sea, home of the singer Kevin Twomey.
Live, Bigger becomes deeper: more profound, more dense!
Possessed by the words, Kevin's disarticulated body comes to life and imposes its intriguing, hypnotic presence. The band cultivates its art of the scene between pop flights and rock darkness, and delivers a set of a real intensity, privileging the melodies and the vocal harmonies.
After the EPs "Bones and Dust" in 2016 and "Tightrope" in 2018, the quintet has already scoured some great stages with a fiery, passionate, and elegant live show: Transmusicales de Rennes, Eurockéennes de Belfort, Le Bataclan, La Rodia, Le Moloco, Moulin de Brainans, Festival de la Paille, La Boule Noire, Bise Festival...
The first album "Les Myosotis" will be released on February 4, 2022 (Upton Park).
