BIOGRAPHY

A diverse group, united through their love of 60’s pop culture and 70’s imagery. The Dustburds explore the dusty attic of soul music, incorporating lounge, garage, psychedelic and cinematic influences; the dancing backbeat is always the locomotive. The authentic results are a hit, even with the most devout soul fan. Their set list features forgotten legends of the genre soul, R&B, cinematic funk of the 60’s and 70’s (Willie Mitchell, Erma Franklin, Joe Bataan, Sandy Nelson, etc.) and some instrumental-only groove themes and atmospheres (spyploitation, sexploitation, teen movies, etc.).
For lovers of bikini party, cinepop and Gin cocktails with olive.
